Who we are
InfoSafe has been managing records and securing data offsite in Michigan since 2004. We are a DBA of Storage Innovation Technologies, Inc., a proud Michigan company. For many years we were known as SITECH for short. We re-branded ourselves as InfoSafe in 2014 to reflect a radically changing information environment.
My, how times have changes: TMI
Back in the day it may have been okay to put your files in boxes and just send them off for storage. Out of sight and out of mind; occasionally recalling a box when needed. But new media and information storage platforms have emerged and taken on different roles. We’ve gone from disc to tape, and on to external storage drives and cloud-based retention.
The technology breakthroughs are amazing, but they can also be confusing and overwhelming.
What has also changed in that time is the need to protect that data and information and still have it accessible when needed, with the added ability to restore it should systems fail or become compromised.
As InfoSafe, we’ve changed more than just our name; we evolved into a leading-edge Information Security company. We go the extra mile
We also offer specialized services, including converting high-volume data storage to LTO® tape. Converting to tape can save bundles of money for organizations that have high-volume data files like photos and video records. It can be expensive and time-consuming to store this stuff, even in “The Cloud”. Law Enforcement agencies face these challenges daily. We’ve solved that problem, and our program is simple, secure, and cost-effective.
We have a training program for personal cyber security awareness, too. Many data breaches these days could be prevented by raising the awareness level of desktop-level staff. Cyber Awareness Basic Training (CABT) is available in a variety of formats, live or digital. CABT is a highly informative and entertaining program, and it can be tailored to your specific environment.
